We are an independent travel agency. That means we are not tied to any
particular holiday companies, as are the 'chain store' travel shops throughout
the country. So unlike them, we are not under orders to steer you towards those
particular holidays. Because of this we can offer
a wider choice than they do, and give you unbiased service. We have no head office
breathing down our necks. We are not under orders to sell a certain quota of those
'own brand' holidays.
For most of the work we do, our services are free to you.
We make our living from the commissions paid to us by tour operators, airlines,
shipping companies, car hire firms, etc.

If asked to help you choose between two or more identical
products - package holidays for example - we are likely to recommend the one that
pays the highest commission. But that's merely sensible business practice, and
we stress it would only happen if the choice was between identical products. Making
sure you get what is right for you is our top priority. This is never influenced
by the level of commission we could earn, or by any other form of pressure.
We never forget that, if we get it wrong, you know where
to find us when you return from a disappointing holiday. The last thing we want
is an unhappy customer. We are proud to be part of this community and jealous
of our local reputation.
